 5.  Sahasrasīram devam viśvākṣham viśva śambhuvam|

Viśvam narayaṇam devamksharam paramam padam||

 

  • Word meanings:
  • Sahasrasīram: thousand suns
  • devam: lord
  • viśvākṣham: bears the whole axis of the universe
  • viśva: universe
  • śambhuvam: granting prosperity
  • Viśvam : the whole universe
  • narayaṇam: Nārayaṇa
  • devam:  Lord
  • aksharam : each syllable
  • paramam padam: excellent way to obtain
  • Translation:
The Lord is like thousand suns brightening the whole universe, the one who bears the axis of the universe, granting prosperity. Each syllable of the ‘Nārāyaa’ is an excellent way to realize the Lord is within self.
