2. Nīlāmbuja śhyāmala komalāmgam Sitāsamāropita vāmabhāgam

 Pāṇau mahāsāyaka cārucāpam namāmi Rāmam raghuvamsa nātham ||

  • Word meanings:
    • Nīlāmbuja: blue lotus;
    • Śhyāmala:  blue black color body;
    • Komalāmgam: delicate and beautiful limbs;
    • Sitāsamāropita:  together with Sita;
    • Vāmabhāgam: on the left side;  
    • Pāṇau: in his hands;
    • Mahāsāyaka: great arrows;  
    • Cārucāpam: beautiful bow;
    • Namāmi: my salutations;
    • Rāmam: Sri Rāma.;
    • Raghuvamsa: in dynasty of Raghu;
    • Nātham: leader.
    • Translation:
My salutations to Lord Rāma who is the foremost  leader of Raghu dynasty,  whose handsome beautiful body is the color of dark blue black lotus flower, who sits with his consort Sita on his left side , who wields great arrows with the beautiful bow in his hands.
