2. Vāgārdha viva samprukte vāgārdha pratipattaye|

   Jagataḥ pitaram vande Pārvati Parameśwarau||

For a prosperous and fruitful knowledge of speech and meaning, I bow down to Lord Śiva and his consort Parvati, the parents of this universe, who remains inseparable like word and meaning.
