8.Hanumānanjanā  sūno vāyuputro mahābalaḥ|

      Rāmeṣta phalgua sakha pingāksho mitavikramaḥ||

      Udadhikramaṇaśśaiva sitāśoka vinānaśakaḥ|

Lakshmaṇa prāadātā ca daśagrivasya darpah||

Dvāśaitāni nāmāni kapindrasya mahātmanaḥ|

Svāpakāle pathe nityam yātrā kāle viśeṣhataḥ||

Tasya mrityu bhayam nāsti sarvatra vijayibhavet||

  • Word meanings: 
  • Translation:  Oh! Hanumān son of the lady Anjana and the wind God, who is the possessor of great strength, a favorite of Rāma, a friend of Indra, who has reddish brown eyes, great heroic valor, crossed the ocean to destroy the sorrow of Sita, who gave life to Lakshmaṇa brother of Rāma, and destroyed the pride of King Rāvana possessor of ten necks, who is mighty man among monkeys.
  • The devotee will succeed in every pursuit, will have no fear of death, nor scared of travelling if prayed on these twelve names of the Lord Hanumān always at the time sleep.
